Civil Celebrant

Ready for 2012!

Taylor Made Ceremonies for all Life’s Celebrations

This year I launched a new arm to my business as a Civil Celebrant.

I am now qualified and registered to perform all Civil Ceremonies including Weddings, Funerals, Baby Namings, Commitment Ceremonies as well as other ceremonies such as Pet Funerals, Renewal of Vows, even Naming a Vessel.

I have been specialising in Funeral Services and absolutely love doing this, very personal form of service for the loved ones of families who have passed.  It's especially rewarding when families or the deceased have wishes for something a little different and individual.  I've experienced goosebumps with a lone bagpiper playing Amazing Grace and taken great delight in joining in The Chicken Dance at the end of a service!  I've shared the lecturn with an Arch Deacon and 7 foot tall Drag Queens and quietly and gently conducted the most simple and solemn service for someone gone too soon.

Everything has perspective and it’s never dull. So yes, ask me if you have an idea that seems outside the square, or if there is an aspect you really feel strongly about. If it is legal and doesn’t offend I will certainly try to accommodate your wishes.

If you would like to contact me regarding my services as a Celebrant please go to my ‘Contact Me’ page on this site or simply pick up the phone: 0411 422 681.

"To those of you who don't know, my mother passed away a few weeks ago. I would like to sincerely thank my friend Lizzie Taylor for the wonderful job she did as Mums' celebrant at the funeral. I could not have managed all the arrangements and the day without her and David. You made it very easy for me."

"The Celebrant, Elizabeth Taylor, you arranged to conduct Stan's Service, you couldn't have chosen a more perfect lady.  Liz delivered an amazing and touching Service.  Liz captured Stan's true essence and many of our friends, family and relatives commented on how much they felt comforted by her words.  Liz took time with Mum and I to discover who Stan was and importantly, she listened to us.  We hope Liz goes on to work with many more families, like us, to help them celebrate the life of their loved ones.  To share with them her kind, caring, professional and compassionate touch."
